Here’s a funfetti thing to do tonight!
Sometimes you happen upon THAT recipe….the one that you know you have to make! (Oh my, do I have a lot of these “must make” recipes, but now I just need more time in the day to make them all!) Well, this was the case for Toney when he found the Funfetti Cake Batter Truffles! We’ve been trying really hard to eat less sweets, but sometimes a little treat is a must. I have to say that they were well worth it! SO yummy and SO very sweet!
Here is the link to the recipe on the blog Six Sisters Stuff! You can use a funfetti cake mix instead of the yellow cake mix and sprinkles if you want. There are several recipes online that use the funfetti cake mix and look amazingly good, like this one from Deliciously Sprinkled.
Have funfetti! We hope you enjoy them as much as we did!
DOUGH GUY or SUPER SPY??? I’ll let you be the judge!!

Hi there! It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything! As many of you know, I homeschool my two amazing children and they have been out for an extraaaaaa long spring break. We are trying something a little different. We wanted to be outside while it was nice, so we will be working through the heat of the summer instead! We’ll see if the kids can endure the torture of summer school!
Getting off my normal schedule of homeschooling left little time for writing! We’ve been planting, weeding, moving rocks, finding random puppies in the woods behind our house and, of course, making lots of pizza!! Continue reading “Teriyaki Chicken and Rice” »

Sometimes just a little ray of sunshine can reveal a happy day during a dark hour of your life. That’s exactly what happened to me. I have known Marcy Templeton for close to 10 years, but it wasn’t until an adventure went sour several years ago that we really grew our friendship. Even now, though we have lived miles apart over the past two years, our bond has remained ever so strong. Continue reading “Chocolate Eclair Cake” »
If you are around us very long, you will discover that we are very much in love with our sweets! And although we don’t do cinnamon rolls very often, I knew I wanted to try them on the waffle iron! Continue reading “Cinnamon Roll Waffle” »
Quesadillas sounded good for lunch today! So what better thing to add to our waffle iron madness list!
Be sure to spray your waffle iron before you begin. Add a flour or corn tortilla, along with the meat, cheese, and veggies. Top with another tortilla. Cook on medium heat for approximately 4 minutes. Continue reading “Quesadilla Waffle” »
